We can offer you a tailor-made canoe trip of several rivers that are far from the big city hustle and bustle.
In our region it is possible to see and listen to the diverse wildlife in their natural environment. For every square kilometer counted in Jämtland´s area there is a moose. This amounts to about 30 000 wild moose that roam free in the wild. Except for the iconic moose, we have bears, beavers, raindeers and many more all sharing the wilderness. Maybe you can catch a glimpse of these animals during your canoe trip. You´ll get to experience the authentic tranquillity and peace that rests over the vast forests of Jämtland. And if you really want to avoid congestion with other people that is entirely possible.
Of course, we have very good fishing, with the chance to catch grayling, char and trout.
We are currently one of Norrland's largest canoe centers. This means that if you´re one who likes to paddle, even bigger the reason to come here. Here you can get tips on day trips, weekend trips or 1-2 week trips from the mountains. We transport you and the canoe up to a suitable starting place in the wilderness. And what a way to conclude your trip at the campsite where you can rent a cabin, rest up, shower and eat well (all within walking distance)
You can always start from the campsite when you go on daytrips.
In addition to the summer it is also very nice to canoe in the spring and autumn.
